Trying to add more locally produced, organically grown vegetables to your table, a CSA is a great way
to accommodate that. Incorporate your weekly grocery buying dollars with a weekly box from a CSA.
19 weeks of amazing produce from your local farmers.

Donate it to your family or friends; share the harvest so others can enjoy it too. If you can’t make it to pick up the box, we will donate the box to a local charity.
Once you have committed to the CSA, the producers have committed to you the produce they have allocated for you. All cost includes the labour, seeds and transportation. As mentioned above, the forgotten shares will be donated to a worthy charity.
One of the benefits of trying a CSA is being able to try new foods! Getting us to think out of the box.
The benefits of eating seasonal foods to list a few:
There are a number of good reasons to eat more local, seasonal food:
• to reduce the energy (and associated CO2 emissions) needed to grow and transport the food we eat
• to avoid paying a premium for food that is scarcer or has travelled a long way
• to support the local economy
• to reconnect with nature's cycles and the passing of time but, most importantly, because
• seasonal food is fresher and so tends to be tastier and more nutritious
